More Diet-To-Go Reviews - Diet Delivery Service
Diet-To-Go is a diet meal delivery service that prepares all of your diet meals and delivers them directly to your door. Their meals are nutritious and easy to prepare by simply using a microwave or conventional oven. Diet-To-Go reviews show that customers are satisfied with the three plans that the company offers: traditional low fat, vegetarian and low carbohydrate.
With Diet-To-Go, you are going to get a breakfast, that will be generally small in size, a soup or sandwich for lunch, and a hearty dinner.
This was the best meal we had from Diet-To-Go. It came with two chicken breasts, and lots of string beans, potatoes, and baked beans. All of it was delicious, and didn't seem like a diet meal.
These apple pancakes were quite tasty and the turkey sausage was equally good, although we would have preferred them to be browned a bit. The filling was sweet without being too sweet.
We felt this meal needed some seasoning, but it is a dish similar to Chicken A La King. The portion size was hearty, and the meal wasn't mushy like other meals we had similar in style. A good dinner.
Macaroni and Cheese
This won't be your Mom's classic Macaroni and Cheese, but it won't have all the fat either. Here, we are showing you the meal in the tray it came in. The vegetables are pretty common.
As waffles go, these were pretty good. They were a decent size. It came with peaches that were tasty as well. Similar to frozen waffles you could get in the store, but good.
This is a pretty common sliced turkey sandwich you can get just about anywhere, but the peach pudding is something you would have a hard time finding. It's really good. The bread was fresh.
We thought this was kind of an odd meal, almost a lasagna with different pasta and no ricotta. It was plentiful, but not our favorite meal. The cauliflower is right out of the freezer bag, nothing special.
Think of this meal as a deconstructed Stuffed Pepper. It has turkey instead of ground beef and plenty of Rice Pilaf. As you can see, a large portion. The Asparagus was a little mushy, but we liked the creativity.
We found our testers had to supplement lunch with a small salad, and snack mid-morning to keep the hunger at bay. However, it is a diet plan, and we wouldn't think that would be anything out of the ordinary, in fact, Diet-To-Go's portion sizes are a little better than average.
We gave this plan four stars because it seems you get a lot for the low cost of the program, and the chefs don't skimp with ridiculous tiny portion sizes like eDiets or Nutrisystem. We also like that there are no required commitments. Some of us like to use the word "trapped."
These are our own pictures, and we are not professional photographers, but we do think you will be able to see what you get if you choose to order this diet delivery service.
These plans allow options for people with special diets or who prefer different methods to acheive weight loss. The plans come in 5 or 7 day meals and you can choose between a breakfast, lunch and dinner plan or a lunch and dinner plan. All of their meals operate on a 5 week rotation to ensure that you have a variety of food.
The Diet-To-Go Plan is completely customizable to your lifestyle and diet restrictions. If there are allergies or dislikes, you can simply substitute or eliminate items from the plan. The company offers nationwide delivery some and in some locations, centers where the fresh food can be picked up. The variety of meals whether, delivered or picked up, is large. There are different options for different days of the week along with a rotation schedule that allows you to not eat the same thing twice in a 5 week period.
Vegetarian options do include eggs and dairy and are not to be considered vegan. The low carbohydrate option is not a no carbohydrate diet but one that focuses on lowering the intake of carbohydrates.
